🌳 Wood is the future… and it starts in the classroom.

We see it all around us: from innovative construction concepts to smart interior applications. Sustainable, versatile, and surprisingly modern. And with every development, we become even more convinced that wood, in all its forms, is the future.

During the Flemish Wood Challenge and the Wood Skills final event, hundreds of students from wood education impressed with technically strong, creative, and well-thought-out work. From refined joinery to functional design solutions — each project showcased craftsmanship, passion, and a clear vision for the future.

👏 A special mention goes to Robbe Alewaters, Mathis Van Rompaey and Leno Van Ransbeeck, who were named winners of the Flemish Wood Challenge!

These competitions not only highlight the talent in today’s classrooms, but also underline the importance of hands-on education for the future of our sector.
